Our Society

The primary focus of the Society is two fold. First, it is our mission to gather and preserve railroad memorabilia. In addition the collecting of such memorabilia. We are also in the process of building the Union Atlantic HO scale model railroad that will highlight much of Pennsylvania's and Beaver County's rich railroading history.

The Society is headquarterd in the former Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad station in Monaca, PA. We currently have between 10 and 16 active members. A monthly business meeting is held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm. Work nights are held each Tuesday evening starting 7:00pm. The public is always welcome and donations are greatly appreciated.

Members are invited to bring in their locomotives and rolling stock to run them on our layout. It is not unusual to see many different road names as well as different eras of railroading. It is truly a unique sight to see!

Visitors are always welcome and anyone interested in membership should contact the Society for additional information.

The Society has two primary methods of fund raising. The first is our annual holiday open house held on Saturdays and Sundays during the month of December. During this time we open our doors to the public and invite them in to view the results of the previous year's labor. Admission is free, but donations are gratefully accepted.
